SO CAL'S SPICIEST ULTRA

TACO BELL 50K ULTRAMARATHON
ORANGE COUNTY, CA  NOV 7th,  2026

The Legendary Race has made its way to California

Are you crazy? Do you think outside the run?

Join us for the inaugural SoCal Taco Bell 50K on November 7th, 2026 — where the journey is long, the rules are weird, and the Taco Bell is mandatory.

HOW IT WORKS

Run ~50K across Orange County

Visit 8 Taco Bell Sanctuaries, Start/Stop at same locations

Eat 1 item at each stop

Complete 2 required items (by stop 4 and stop 8)

Bring your wrappers as proof

Finish in under 11 hours

Earn eternal glory (and a finisher token)

The Highlights (With Extra Sauce)

Ready yourself for an iconic ultra with wild challenges and memories you’ll laugh about for years. This is the Taco Bell 50K.

Historic
First

The debut SoCal edition of the most deliciously unhinged ultra on the West Coast. You’ll tell people you did this… and they’ll still think you’re joking.

Taco
Piñata

What better way to celebrate victory than swinging at a giant taco-shaped piñata? Every runner gets a shot. What’s inside? Glory. Chaos. Probably more Taco Bell.

Finisher
Medals

They may be forged from sauce packets and questionable decision-making, but they’re yours to earn. Conquer all eight stops and you’ll walk away with a finisher token worthy of legend.*

Taco
'Bout It

Connect with fellow runners, compare fuel strategies, and share your training chaos on Discord and Instagram. The adventure starts long before race day.

RULES & EXPECTATIONS

01

You're your own Taco

Navigate the course, bring what you need, and buy your own food.

02

9 Stops. 9 Choices

We begin our journey together with a group feast outisde Home Taco Bell. From there, each racer will make their way through the 33 mile course stopping at 8 different Taco Sanctuaries to revel in guacamole glory.

03

By the 4th Stop...

All entrants must have consumed at least one (1) Chalupa Supreme or one Crunchwrap Supreme.

04

 By the 8th Stop...

All entrants must have consumed at least one (1) Burrito Supreme or one Nachos Bell Grande.

05

11 Hour Limit

06

Drinks ≠ Food

07

Wrappers as Proof

Entrants must keep all wrappers for confirmation of stupidity at the end of the run. Will ask for presentation at the end.

08

Gastro-endurance

No on-course Pepto, Alka Seltzer, Pepcid A/C.

09

Rules May Change

Additional "rules" may be added, amended, or changed to promote the intent of this run, which is to do something completely stupid.

10

Tradition

Colorado kicked this madness off nine years ago. DC joined the chaos in 2025. Now it’s SoCal’s turn. Let’s make the Taco Bell 50K a coast-to-coast tradition.

11

To Throw it out...

Vomiting is allowed, but discouraged. Keep it contained and aim for a trash can if you can't.

12

SHHHHH

CHALLENGES

If the thought of 9 burritos and 33 miles isn't ridiculous enough, consider adding the following to complete your order

Diablo

Lather all items with Diablo sauce and do a Diablo shooter at the end.

Baja Blast

Drink an aggregate of 2 Liters of Baja Blast during the run without vomiting.

Cinna-Twisted

Consume one order of cinnamon twists IN ADDITION to your one item

COURSE

This 33-mile pilgrimage connects 8 Taco Bells across Orange County, starting at 8am and finishing at 7pm in Huntington Beach.

Runners will travel from the coast through Costa Mesa, Irvine, Tustin, Santa Ana, Garden Grove, and Westminster before returning to back to home Taco Bell.
